People new to FAC often ask the question, “What are my next steps?” They like our church, enjoy being our guest and love worshiping with us, but they want to know how to get more involved. They want to know how to become a more active part of FAC. Below are several suggested next steps that will help you get more plugged in.

Serving Opportunities

One of the best ways to get better connected is to jump right in and start serving. Serving your church and community brings fulfillment, satisfaction and will connect you to the church and its vision and people. Feel free to contact the church office to speak with one of our pastors about serving opportunities.

Church Services

Faithfully attending church services is an important part of getting connected to who we are and what we are doing as a church. In our worship services, God speaks to our local church, giving vision, comfort and direction. When we miss church services, we miss out on an important part of what’s going on at FAC. Our Sunday morning service in Carmel and our Sunday afternoon service in Sheridan are both exciting times of worship and dynamic preaching. Wednesday LifeGroups provide great opportunities for growth in God’s Word and interaction with other believers. We also have a Prayer Service on Monday evenings where many gather to spend time in God’s presence in prayer. Occasionally there are other special services such as revivals, conferences or other prayer events that are always beneficial to our spiritual growth. It is through our faithful attendance to church services that God plants us in the local church, our roots are put down and we begin to blossom in our ministries.

The New Birth

There is nothing more important than our New Birth experience. We are born again and made new through the power of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This gospel is applied to our lives through repentance, water baptism in Jesus’ Name and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, it is important for you to receive everything God has for you. If you have already repented of your sins, you need to be baptized in Jesus Name. If you’ve already been baptized in Jesus Name but have not been baptized with the Holy Ghost, then God wants to fill you with His Spirit. It is important that we experience everything that God has for us. If you would like more information about repentance, being baptized or receiving the Holy Ghost, please contact a member of our pastoral staff.

StartingPoint LifeGroup

Faith Apostolic Church offers a small group designed especially for those wanting to learn more about becoming a member of FAC. The LifeGroup is called, “StartingPoint.” It is a six week class on Wednesday evenings which covers subjects such as our church’s history, doctrine, mission and vision and where you can fit into FAC. This is a GREAT way for you to get more connected to FAC, especially if you are considering membership. StartingPoint is also a pre-requisite to many of our other LifeGroup Bible Studies. To find out when the next StartingPoint LifeGroup session will begin, please contact the church office.

God’s Plan for Man

FAC offers a small group Bible study called God’s Plan for Man which explains the general plan of God for our lives. It puts the message of the Bible in a nutshell. This Bible study is recommended for all those new to the Apostolic faith. God’s Plan for Man is a three-lesson study that can be taught in your home or some other convenient location by a member of our pastoral staff. Please contact a member of the pastoral staff to work out a time to meet for this Bible study.

The 2:42 Plan

At FAC, you will frequently hear references made to “The 2:42 Plan.” This is our discipleship model based on Acts 2:42. We offer a five-week Bible study that goes into detail about each of the discipleship elements found in Acts 2:42. A member of our pastoral staff would be happy to get together with you at a convenient time and location to share this Bible study. This Bible study is recommended for all new Christians and those who are new to FAC. Please contact a member of the pastoral staff to work out a time to meet for this Bible study.

LifeGroup Bible Studies

On Wednesday evenings we offer LifeGroups, which are small group Bible studies on a variety of subjects that are designed to help you grow in God’s Word and in your connections with others at FAC. Our LifeGroups are a vital part of who we are as a church. LifeGroups are one of the greatest ways to connect with others in the church and fine-tune your relationship with God. Feel free to contact the church office to find out when the next round of LifeGroups begin.

Leadership Training

Leadership development is a core value at FAC. We are committed to helping people reach their fullest potential in whatever ministry God has called them to do. We offer periodic training sessions and personal coaching specifically geared to put practical ministry tools in people’s hands. You may contact the church office to see when the next Leadership Training session is scheduled.

Social Events

We offer a variety of social events that are geared toward getting people more connected. Please check our church calendar or our event page on this website to see a list of upcoming activities.
